Some time ago I tried to post an ATC for the Vintage Women swap. I didn't know what I was doing and thought I lost it. It's taken me all this time to try again! SO -- I entered a new effort in Art Journals, and there was the blankety-blank ATC! I'm embarrassed but determined. Please bear with me!

Thanks for encouragement, Judith and Poe-ette! I finally managed to create an album and post a couple of efforts. I'm awed by the art here, and feeling VERY newbie....hoping some of this talent will rub off on me!

I only started to do any art at all in June last year, so I am comparatively new too. Bounce in and have fun.

I wish I knew when I posted "Duh" that it would hang there forever as my opening statement! I'm sure I would've chosen something sounding far more intelligent! I cringe every time I see it. How long does it take for a thread to disappear???

Indybev, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but have you noticed posts from before this site officially opened? Yes, I am afraid it is true. Posts do not die, they stay to haunt you for all quirktime and beyond ...

Don't be embarrassed. We're all pretty good at admitting our eccentricities here. Just see Nevermore's narrative on scissors, mine on using my feet to use a corner punch, and a whole thread on wearing tin hats to protect us from aliens. LOL

Would you like me to change the title of your thread?

Oh Becky, how thoughtful. Let's see what we can come up with .... perhaps "Nerd Alert"? ... "Clueless Quester"? ... "Needy Newbie"? ... or "Beware the Bewildered?" ..... Nah - let DUH stand. I'll rise to the occasion! lol But thanks much!
