View Full Version : Hand Writing with Graphire
Nevermore

Does anybody have any tips? I have tried the calligraphy brush but find it too limiting and I just can't seem to make it work. I always end up scanning my handwriting in. If anyone can give me a brush size, shape and controls to use as a start I would greatly appreciate it. One of the most annoying things that happens to me is that the marks get joined (as if I were pressing shift) so that the letters run together. I have no idea why that is as I have disabled everything I can think of.

I am a beginner at using the pen and tablet, so sorry no tips here. I can doodle but my handwriting looks pretty lame. I just got my tablet about a month or so ago. I would be interested in some recommended settings too.

Sorry, my handwriting is so bad that I have to rely on my husband to do my journaling. Using the tablet, it just went from bad to worse.

Drat, I was hoping someone would have an answer for this because I have yet to figure it out myself either. There's gotta be a little trick that I haven't tried yet. Mine ends up looking pretty abysmal. (Nevermore, do I get bonus points for abysmal?)

Deb Perry (http://www.scrapartist.com/CT-Deb.html) is the queen of Wacom handwriting. She may be a good person to ask (@ 2 Peas/Scrapartist as 'Toehead')

I'm lame too, it always ends up with the lines being very squiggly. (Is that a point word?)

Ok so where and when did this point thing start. I'd like to be informed of that threads whereabouts if you please. (OK, are there point sentences?)

We're making up the point boost as we go along. I forget which thread it was being discussed in before. We have the strange ability to completely morph topics within threads... and then shift them five more times too. It's kinda funny. We're weird.

ITA that Deb Perry is the Queen of Wacom handwriting (and just a scraptacular scrapper in general); I hope she wanders over here and shares all her tips:D
