I'm back and this is post number 402. I know all of you have missed me terribly, so much that you've almost felt hurt, and that is why there are no messages in my box, seeking to know whether I am ok.
Well, I am, and I'm now on a mission to make up for all the posting ops I've missed.

So, where have I been you ask? Well, I spent the weekend enjoying a motorcylce ride with DH to Buenos Aires Wildlife Refuge, located in.......you guessed it, Arizona. Hah, fooled you didn't I?
While there, i took some wonderful photos of the nature all about me and this morning I was thrilled to begin working my art upon them. I nearly finished a Lo when I had to leave, so I left. ........And there was a power failure, and I, brillliant girl that I am, did NOT save! Boo hoo!

So, I've some rescrappin to do. But I shall not be daunted. I shall conquer the computer and create yet another masterpiece.
Ok, I'll stop hogging the stage with my idiocy now. you may all carry on

So nice that you got away, it sounds wonderful. It really recharges those batteries to leave all your cares behind and get out into nature. Can't wait to see what you create.

Well, I posted my tree Lo. Not so much quirky, but I LOVE the photo of the tree.

Don't take it personally, Ursula. I disappeared all day Sunday and nobody asked where I was either. I just now stopped crying. (kidding, kidding). Glad to hear you had a nice little escape and battery charge. :)

Ha! I pictured you cuddled under blankets recovering from your period--not touring around the wilds on a motorcycle.;) Was going to PM you to advise that my friend gave me the okay to give you the cutie peep (Calypso Doll) but I have been so busy doing laundry and packing up my stuff for vacation and working my butt off so I could take three days vacation that I didn't have a minute! Very glad to hear you are recovered, creating and posting. Send me a pm with an email that takes large attachments (ie gmail) and I will try to forward the peep before I take off for my idea of the wild (500 yards of fairway with a hole at the end).:D
You wild woman you! I was still trying to catch up from taking the day off on Thursday, so I didn't get a chance to PM you. ;)
Bugger about the power. I hate when I lose layouts. My system is a little quirky, so sometimes, if I don't save, I'll lose a layout out of the blue. It makes me so mad. Now I have to go to the gallery to see your tree. :)

Your tree is way cool Ursula, but I already told you that in the gallery. I am mentioning it again here because I'm trying to get above 400 posts this a.m.

I agree - that tree is really cool! Sorry about your layout too - I've had that happen a couple of times too - usually because I forget to save, go to bed and then discover that Windows restarted my machine to do an update, argh.

I hate when Windows restarts my machine on me overnight. I often leave half-finished scrap stuff up in PhotoShop. I try to remember to save, too, before I go to bed, but sometimes I forget.

Our computer guy at work refers to Tuesday as "Black Tuesday" because apparently that is when a lot of the new updates install - that always means more work for him - seems like the updates often break as many things as they fix LOL

I finally just turned the automatic update feature off. I was tired of having to have my son fix my computer once a week.
Ladies, I missed all of you who were out running around this weekend. It was quiet her at DAQ.

Well glad your back!! I too was gone this weekend and did'nt have any messages waiting either so don't feel bad! I think most of us are busy on the weekends! Exept starting next week end I will most likely be online every weekend as my dh's new schedule will be Wed. through Sundays. So I most likely will not be able to be online too much on Mondays and Tuesdays!

Yeah, oddly enough I'm not around much on weekends either, it's just easier during the week when I'm sitting in front of the computer all day anyway LOL

I was laughing Krista. And no, I'm not feeling bad, just joshin' all of you. Weekends are usually quiet on the boards, everyone has family stuff going on.
Thanks for the comments on my tree. I wanna go back and photograph it again with a wider angle, maybe during monsoon season with some really dramatic clouds in the background!

Oh, and Nevermore, thanks for the thinking of me with the doll. Not sure I know the meaning behind it but it sounds fun. But, I have no big attachment email. I have only lame, wussy, email!

Now THAT would look VERY cool.

Yeah, just not sure I can justify driving all that way just to photograph a tree. It's about 70 miles and gas is pricey these days. Still might have to do it anyway.
