We should post our LOST atc's on that www.lost-media.com site - they have a section for digi art from fans.

How bout wrapping them in cellophane and including a piece of bubblegum. Or a cool printable holder you know like a little ATC sized card box with Lost graphics on it - if I only had unlimited time and no job....Robyn get your monkeys working!

LOL Debra! Though the cellophane and gum might be a bit of a stretch, (even for someone that has unlimited time and no job like me!) I really like your idea of zipping and sharing our Lost cards after we've all made a bunch. Definitely something I'd like to collect too.

And you know what, I never even thought of posting my ATC's on that website! I guess I always assumed it was for desktop wallpapers but I'm just noticing now they have galleries for 'collage' and 'miscellaneous'. We should definitely invade with our artquirks :)

I'm just lovin' these Lost ATC's.

I have about 250 photos to edit for the church 'prom' slideshow :mad: so it's really cut into my scrapping time. I tried to con the parents into scanning the photos but only 1 out of 4 actually did it. I HATE scanning photos. In past years when this was my only artistic outlet I actually edited the dust out of each individual photo!

But this year I'm putting my little digiscrap touches on the photos which looks really cool.

Oh I bet that's going to be one cool slide show! Maybe you could 'accidentally' insert a LOST card in the middle of the presentation. That would be fun. Or perhaps set it to music and play your bongos while reciting some slam about the prom! How about that! The teens would think you were way cool!

Hmmm . .. I just made another LOST card about our dear friend Ethan but it occured to me as I was posting that it might be considered a spoiler for those who haven't seen Season 1 yet . . .

This is gonna be hard! Trying to make ATC's that don't spoil anything for anyone! Darn near impossible really. I think I will start putting *spoiler* in the title of my ATC so that people can choose not to look at it . . .whaddya think? is that a good solution? Cuz I really wanna post these things!

Well yeah it's not gonna spoil any major plotlines or anything but does kind of give away that he's a bad guy for anyone who hasn't gotten that far in the series . . .Maybe I'm just paranoid but I hate ruining things for other people. Especially when it comes to this show! LOL

If there's ever something really cool I want to do that would be a major major spoiler I just won't post it here, but I'll still include it in the .zip when we do the swap.

Well actually you were pretty subtle in how you communicated it - Fiddlette didn't get it and she watches Lost.

I think it's very artistic to convey messages in sort of a roundabout cryptic way so that it doesn't just hit you in the face...It adds to the collectible nature of the ATC and fits w/the mysterious nature of Lost anyway.

As for me, don't spoil season 2 (second half) for me but if it's not something I 'get' then no problem. Mainly I don't want to know if someone dies!

Ethan is may fave bad guy. He was in this other show called 'Threshold' which I loved but got cancelled - played this zombie like character infected w/an alien virus.

Did you know the actor who plays Ethan, William Mapother, is Tom Cruise's cousin? Tom Cruise's real last name is Mapother. If you look closely you can kind of see a family resemblance.

And don't worry, I won't let you know if someone dies or not! Or any other big spoilers.

I'm just havin' a blast with these Lost cards. So when will I be seeing cards from all you other Losties!? LOL

My friends and I are really into it so we discuss plots and theories a lot and try to keep on top of all the clues, etc. We take these things very seriously around here LOL!

I have to start making some of these too - I love the show and am as up to date as I can be with it (shhh - don't tell anyone though) - I had to tell my mum what's going on as she's watching it on TV and is so behind - LOL

All I have to say is this - I'm really glad that I'm not seeing some people anymore and I sincerely wish that one of them would remain LOST - hee hee

also, I just want to say one thing - I don't visit the forums that deal with the show so I don't know if this has been brought up - but please check out how the people have been grouped in the poster for the first season - those who are up to date are going to say - oh!

Just have to say I'm so ticked off at iTunes right now I could spit...sputter, sputter! I ordered Lost's first season to download last night, and it starts right up, no problem, they got my money and everything...and right as the first episode (really the pilot) starts to finish up, iTunes crashes. In fact, the pilot stops showing up in my purchased items, it's not in my TV videos. I try to access my pending downloads and it starts up with the next episode, but the same thing happens. So, I check for an updated version of iTunes, restart my computer, try again...no luck downloading ANY of the episodes. I've downloaded lots of videos before, have some episodes of The Office. Have plenty of room on my hard drive. GRRR!!! I've got an email into them, but I told them to just credit my account...I'll buy the DVDs! I really want to see what all the fuss (er...excitement) is all about.

NEWSFLASH for those of you that don't get LOST in your area of the world! I just noticed that you can watch the entire episode of LOST (and many other ABC shows) on www.abc.com the day after they air. This won't help you get caught up but at least it will get you started!

BTW, I have a question. How many ATC's will fit in a .zip file? At what point do we need to stop and zip them? Cuz I know lots of people have expressed interest in getting these to print them. And obviously this share could go on forever. So I thought maybe we could start some kind of system where every once in a while (like when we reach a certain number of them) I'll make a .zip. And then I just remember the last card and start from there for the next .zip.
Does that make any sense? Any thoughts?
