Okay, this is something a lot of people do, I guess, make a list of the 100 things they would like to do before a certain age or before they die. Only, I have never done it before, and I thought I would give it a go. Anyone else want to join me? It took me an hour just to come up with 39 things last night. That is pitiful. I really struggled with trying to think of things I'd like to do! But, I'm just so simple, I guess, that I am not out to conquer a bunch of things or see the world. I like my list so far, though. Trying to make sure I only put down things I really want to do.

I don't know how one would parlay this into a piece of art--seems like a lot for an ATC deck or scrapbook page. But it might get you thinking about at least one thing you want to accomplish in the near future that you could document somehow.

Wanna hear a couple of things on my list? Take a tour of Washington D.C.; see the fall foliage in Vermont; electrolysis for facial hair (LOL); meet Cathy Zielske; fly first class; meet more of my online friends.

Have fun with your lists!

Great prompt Becky!

I totally cracked up at the electrolysis thing. That would be tops on my list too! LOL Such a funny thing to have in common with someone . . .

I actually started one of these lists about 8 months ago when I first started digi-scrapping and came across the idea somewhere. You know how far I got? 12! LOL So you're well on your way with your 39! But I think your prompt will be a good kick in the pants for me to get this finished. I think it's really important to put dreams and goals down on paper and I NEVER do that. I'm starting to think that's why I never achieve anything! LOL

I really like this idea. I tried putting a list together last year, and only got to about 20. It's more difficult than you'd think.

I'm really on a roll now...I'm up to like 59 or something. Added: See an NFL game in person; take a ride on a sailboat; go to one of my nephew's rugby games (he's playing for the USAF Academy); and go to a state dinner at the White House--how do-able do you think that one is? LOL!

Not sure how do able but make darn sure you check out the electrolysis before you go because I imagine there will be all kinds of press literally in your face.

Joking aside, I am impressed. For sure you have to keep the list and look at it again in ten years--see what, if anything, gets struck off and what, if anything you would like to change.

You're right...you'd definitely want to re-evaluate every so often. There will probably be oodles of things to add over the years.

Oh, and hahahahaha over getting the electrolysis BEFORE the state dinner--good point!

I've done a layout of the 25 things I want to do b4 I die.
You can check it out here (http://georgetownit.com.au/NDGallery/displayimage.php?album=33&pos=0)
(I'm slowly scanning my BOM pages as I do them)

I'm such a take it as it comes kinda person that I never thought of such a list - LOL - however, if I were to do so:

Skydive
Learn to fly an aeroplane
Visit Venice (maybe next year)
Visit the Smithsonian (yes, I'm a geek - LOL)
Visit the Louvre (not necessarily Paris, just the Louvre - LOL)
Visit London
Be recognised commercially as an artist (sigh - probably never!)
Finish one of my many stories and have it published
Dye my hair Maureen O'Hara red and get green contacts
The electrolysis sounds good, but would probably go for laser hair removal - LOL

That's all I can think of off the top of my head

Now I have a wonderful video in my head of Kaza dressed in multiple layers of textured tangerine (silk and gauze and brocade) dancing through the Louvre, red hair streaming...or falling through the sky, hair and fabric REALLY streaming.

Tangerine Gypsy, my dear, you are so right! Electrolysis is SO yesterday...it's all about the laser these days.

Please take pictures when you are sporting your Maureen O'Hara facade!

Bonnie, I'm so glad you could participate in this and found it good therapy! I sure did, too. One of the things I realized is that I really have some very simple wants out of life. Not one of those Type T (thrillseeker) personalities, but I do want SOME adventures!
