I caved in

and bought a laptop today. Busy transferring files. Has the same specs as my desktop except twice the RAM so hoping I get an extra boost from that. But what a pain (even with networking) to get all the files over. Right now reactivating PS. Good news is "how I spent my summer vacation" will be a bit better this year!:D

Yay! As one who is typing to you on my laptop in the comfort of my family room sprawled on my couch... you will love it. The mobility and ability to quirk in various locales will be truly fantastical!

I don't even use our office since getting my laptop in January. On days when I feel bad, I just hop into bed and set up shop there among the pillows. My husband even bought me a small scanner that I keep in an end table in the living room. I just open up the drawer and hook it up so that I can scan and watch TV at the same time. Positively decadent. :-)

Laptops are the best. Now you can hang out w/Max or your family and quirk at the same time. I spend all my free quirking time in bed or on the sofa...
