Curiosity:
1. An object that arouses interest, as by being novel or extraordinary
2. A strange or odd aspect
3. A novel item or phenomenon kept as an attraction to the interest of the public; it is so named because it is intended to engender curiosity in its viewers.
Do you or someone in your family have a weird collection? Largest ball of tin foil in the neighbourhood maybe? Do you have any interesting heirlooms or antiques that deserve to be scrapped? Let’s hear the stories behind them! Maybe *you* are the curiosity? Do you deserve to be in a shop window? Tell us why!
These are just some ideas. Interpret this mission any way you like! Just have fun and remember, the quirkier the better! Don't forget to leave us a link here so we can see your creation!
Here's my example: To be or not to be . . . (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=299&cat=500&ppuser=24)

Fantastic challenge, Michelle! I will have to think about which quirky things I actually want to reveal about myself, now....hmmmm...how wierd do I want my friends to know I am? LOL!! This may take awhile!! :)

I love your Marvis layout Robyn!!! I said to interpret the mission any way you like so "stretching the assignment" is totally allowed and in fact encouraged!

Thanks Michelle. I may have to do an actual object next. Perhaps my lucky buckeye or maybe the previously mentioned "Wally the reminder walrus" - I know you're still dying to know about that one! LOL!

I was trying to think of weird stuff I had in my house but then I thought of my friend's house....this women collects the most outlandishly weird stuff and she has a story for every bit of junk I try to convince her to throw out.
Definitely going to have to raid her collection for some prime QC!

Oh I can't wait to see the QC Debra! Hey MG - you should change the name of the challenge to Ye Ole QC!

OK just to give you an example, she has this little girl figurine wearing a yellow slicker and a tacky duck w/a poncho. I pointed it out and she says 'Oh that's the Latter Rain' (some apocalypic Biblical event)!

Sounds like this is already scrapped! You have to do this one.
Okay, I did this one. :D I was swearing to myself that there was nothing really quirky that I could scrap. My honeypot collection? No. My graveyard of dead houseplants on the back porch? No. Gollum wearing a sombrero and poncho. Um, yeah.

LOL my geeky friend!
Michelle, I am so happy to meet another LOTR geek! You mention you have the trinkets too - what else do you have? Our house "artwork" consists of framed movie posters from 1 and 2, and I'm trying to find a decent middle earth map to hang above the mantle. We are total geeks. My college thesis was on Tolkien's use of song and music throughout the books. Pretty geeky!!

Wow great topic for a thesis! I wish they would have included more of his original songs in the movies.
I will take a photo of my little shrine for you and scrap a page with it or something. It's quite the display LOL Definitely qualifies as Quirky Crap so I might as well

Um - that's a lot of little strange thingies you have there. Quite a collection. Very unique. Should I be worried?
