Michelle Godin and I, with the help of some of our fellow Quirks, are going to be hosting a Quirk workshop at Scrapbookgraphics. The idea is to introduce quirking to traditional scrappers and to encourage them to explore digital art or to at least incorporate some "quirky" techniques in their traditional layouts.

I would like to use the work of my fellow DAQ artists as examples. If you're willing to let us use your work, would you please give us permission in this thread. Thanks so much.

If my stuff is quirky enough for you, you certainly can use anything I have created. Good luck with the workshop. I hope it goes over big - at SBG you just might have a lot of quirksters who just don't know about DAQ!

OK, so Robyn posted that she wants to take the workshop; but I do too and I didn't know if we could or not.

Can we take the workshop?

When is it?

Hope I see you there!!!!

Sure, the workshop is open to everyone. Most of you know and do these things on a regular basis, but I still think it'll be fun. I'll be incorporating a lot of information that Kim gathered from you all when we discussed what it means to be quirky.

I've been working on the details today, and it looks like it's going to start next Monday. It will be a six-week workshop with assignments. You get to choose between a digital layout assignment or a hybrid assignment. Folks who participate all six weeks will get a Quirky Grab Bag filled with goodness.

I hope to see you all there.

If anything is my gallery suits your purpose, Donna...you're welcome to it!

I've never considered myself really quirky - just a bit whacked in the head - but if anything suits feel free

Your welcome to use anything from mine. A lot of them are at SBG, too. :)

To quote a Roy Orbison song "anything you want, you got it..." if anything of mine fits your bill. I'd like to try the workshop too, if I can.

Don't you dare include any of my stuff in your quirkshop...I have a reputation to uphold, I can't be seen associating with the likes of all you crazy quirks...especially that Robyn girl!

(You DO know I'm kidding, right?)

We're moving into our final week of the Quirkshop at Scrapbookgraphics, and I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of you who allowed me to use your beautiful work.

I believe I used the work of everyone who gave me permission (if I didn't, it was an oversight, so please let me know). Your examples really helped pull the whole workshop together, and made my job so much easier.

You guys are the reason I just love being a Quirk.

Donna, it was a great series of challenges... if it works out that you get to do another series, I look forward to participating then, too! :)
