Hi everyone! I've lurked the gallery for a long time because I love the artistic, quirky side of things. I've not posted a thread before because it seems a little confusing to me. There's lots of forums and I wasnt' sure where to start. So I picked this one--I'm not sure why, but it was active today!

My cousin gothmama said I should post something so I picked my quirkiest digital creation to post here. It's a little altered/hybrid/funky or whatever, but for some reason I was really happy with it when I made it--maybe because it was so hard for me to figure out how to do, LOL!

Anyways--I work full time so I hardly ever have time to create. I'm one of those slow disorgnainzed people who can't seem to accomplish anything sometimes. But I have this burning need in me that forces me to create and when I can't, then I must daydream about it and plan it all day. No matter that my beautiful dream creations never come to fruition or work out the way I planned, LOL! I must try!

I mostly do my funky work in paper so I don't have much work to post here; I usually reserve my digital endeavors for scrapbooking. But I really need to learn to be more creative and play so maybe your challenges can be a springboard to show off my hidden digital quirkiness! OK--so I guess I'm rambling so I'll stop now, LOL!

I'm so glad you've come out of hiding. Our forums can be confusing, but that's only because we never let a conversation die. If we get a thought in October related to something we saw in the forums in January, we'll start the thread again. We're also very good about getting off topic, but that's why this place is so much fun.

I hope we'll inspire you to use your computer for art, too. But if not, that's okay. We'd love to see your work in any case, and we're always ready to chat. I'm off to check out your posting.

Laughing at the confused forums comment. Oh yeah! Donna is right--we just post what we want when we want and it is a total dog's breakfast. After a while the muddle just kind of grows on you :) Glad gothmama got you to visit, I do hope you come back again!

Hooray for the new girl--welcome!! We do mostly digital here that's true, but you are always welcome to show us your non-digital quirkiness--we'd be happy to see it too! No rules here saying you can't :)

Oh yes--would you mind telling about your screen name--I'm curious about the llama part!

oh, thanks for the warm welcome! I was shocked to login when I got home and see all the replies! Glad you all aren't too fussy about what and where I post--I'm scatterbrained enough without having to remember more rules, LOL!

Pam--there's no reason behind the "llama" part of my name. I just think llamas are so funny and I love alliteration, LOL! and when I see a llama I just have to shout "lamalamalamalama", ha ha! They just make me laugh! It's always good to laugh!

(waving wildly) Hi Lianna!

Wow, I am so proud of you. Posting a LO (gorgeous, compelling piece of art!!!) and an intro, too. You rock, girlfriend! Speaking of "llama" I tried to get my family to watch the llama song with me. These crazy ladies here got me and my entire family singing the banana phone song and dancing around like badgers on meth. Liam was chanting "I want the dancing badgers!!!" We tried to segue into dancing hamsters, but he was having none of it. So let this be a cautionary tale... you quirk today, tomorrow you may be a crazed weasel! Don't say I didn't warn you!

Hey, crazed weasels are fine. I would love to see some non-digital creations. Please would you take photos of some of your work and post them in the gallery? If your hand is anything to go by, your creations will be exciting.

I guess my name has alliteration too--LOL!
I asked about llamas just because my husband loves them, so much in fact that I often call him Llama as a nickname. Your name just got my attention is all--wanted to know if you liked them as much as he does! :p
