I don't normally flat out pimp SBG here but I do know a few of you hang out there. Just in case you missed it, there is a new group there that is doing some blog work in a column called Reflecting Pool (http://www.scrapbookgraphics.com/wordpress/?p=1325) (Studio Matters) that is very interesting. The group is winners in the Queen of the Scrap contest (including our own uber talented Dee-dee.) The idea is that they are posting inspirations etcetera based on the monthly SBG collaborative kit. This month the kit is Impressions of Gratitude. If you post a layout in the Impressions gallery at SBG before November 14th and win, you get December's collaborative kit free. December will be Impressions of the Holidays. The layout has to involve gratitude and has to use mainly SBG products to qualify. Anyway, the collab kits are always incredible and getting one for free would make the price right! Just thought I would pass this on.

Kim, I was clearly in another world when I read your post... my immediate reaction to the title of the collection was "Impressions of Gratitude, is that like Walking Against the Wind?" before I realised you meant Thanksgiving artwork and not a strange Mime performance. However, it set my sense of the ridiculous off on a tangent, and so I had to quickly do this:
Mime Impressions of Gratitude (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=4118)
Please understand that this is not intended to disrespect those who have created that wonderful collection, but it's more a reflection on my state of mind and initial confusion... <sigh> and it's only Wednesday. :)

I AM SCREAMING...I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING... STOP .... STOP. You have to stop, you are killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This just went straight to my funny bone and broke it.
You know, I did the same thing once. Sausan Designs put up a new kit called Sing Spring and I misread it as Sing Sing. I was truly puzzled why such a delightful kit was created by a German designer for such a notorious American prison but I dutifully did a layout! http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=2627&cpage=1&perpage=9&ppuser=47#poststart

Between the two of you, I've laughed so hard that I have tears rolling down my face. Too, too funny.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, then, that thought my confusion was entertaining. I was worried that my layout might be pushing the limit...
Loved your layout, Kim! I can see where your confusion lay (and understand your thought processes!) :)
