Microscope Slides are SO cool, and perfect for a variety of fabulously fun IRL projects!
Here is a link to what I did last weekend when my sister came from Petaluma CA to visit me and play crafts!

I have some more photos to post, so stay tuned!
And hey, besides comments, I'd really love if you'd share some crafts made with microscope slides, too!
And if you haven't tried it yet, and are interested, please DO NOT BUY THEM AT A CRAFT WEBSITE!
Go to a medical supplies site and get 5 times as many for the same cost! :)

These are just gorgeous, Christine, I have got to try this! I know I have a few of those slides somewhere in my stash!

I really love those. I'm seriously thinking about making some for Christmas gifts. (It's never to early to plan for Christmas!)
I saw a neat gizmo in a craft catalog the other day. It was a pin/necklace combo that could be attached to the back. I like that the person could decide which way to wear it.

I've made lots of these for my shop, but here's an example:

I don't trust myself with soldering, so I use the pre-made casings. :)

Tammy, your slides are just gorgeous. How are you planning to use them? Will you wear them? sell them? use them in collage art? I'd like to try them, but I don't know what I'd do with the finished project.

Thank you!! I do sell my pendants in my Etsy store and at an art consignment shop. I also wear them. :) I've had a few people ask for digital versions of the final pendant so they can use them in digital scrapbooking, so that might come next.

LOL, I finally got around to making some digital versions of some of my pendants. You can find them at KBandFriends. Took me long enough, huh? :)
