One of the first things that I learned to make using PSE3 were postage stamps. After learning this simple process I started using them in everything! In this challenge us your home-made stamps to embellish a layout of your choice (eg. atc, 6x6, 12x12).
If you need a quick tutorial (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/tutorials/Stamp_tutorial_allison.pdf) I have one for PSE3 (that I didn't edit and, of course, there are a few spelling mistakes!!).
Here are some examples:
UNCLE VIC (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=324&cat=500&ppuser=13)
PETER (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=144&cat=500&ppuser=13)
PADDY (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=152&cat=500&ppuser=13)
To me, this is as addicting as artist trading cards!

Yes, I can really see these being as addictive as ATC's even more so, as a matter of fact! I can't wait to try this out for myself!! :)

Kazadoodle posted this fun link in the 'fun links forum' - I thought I'd drop it in here too because it deals w/postage stamp art:

I love faux postage - I used to belong to a yahoo group that made them.

I did a whole series for my imaginary island, Baton Island, and gave it a history and everything - LOL.

I just love the creativeness here.

I think I've still got them on my computer - LOL

I even made one strip featuring my DD at different stages in her first year of life - who would have thunk it that I was already digi scrapping at the time - LOL

FYI...I've got a font called Postage Stamp that is a set of "dings"--it's fun to play with. I probably got it at dafont.com since that's about the only place I go. Just thought I'd share so you can all continue to go postal!

i saw this over here today and had to give it a shot. mine is more a lo of a stamp rather than featuring a stamp.
