This is a great idea, Cindy. I may not get a page every week, but I'm going to try to play along.

Just the incentive I need. Thanks, Cindy, for doing this thread.

I will try to join in, but my first page is likely to be late, I am unwell.

Thanks for startinig the thread, Cindy. I'm going to try to make journal pages work for here and for my Indiana Altered Arts journal pages too. Their first prompt was WISH. Here's my page.

I'm going to give this a go too Cindy...I may not get something done for every week, but I'll definately be aiming for it. Having said that, for the next six weeks it may be difficult to post as I'll be in Mexico. I'll have my husbands laptop (but without all my goodies on it) and some art supplies but no scanner. If I'm not able to upload them while I'm gone, I'll upload to DAQ when I get back.

Thanks for starting this...I needed a little shove to inspire me:)!

And I am going for 52 (:p). I have started my own album in my gallery for my journal and will post them there as I do them. I am really anxious to see everybody's elses!

I just wanted to let you all know that I've started to create my journal.

I got all my paper bags from the grocery store and cut them to size, washed them, let them dry and now they are waiting to be ironed and made into signatures. Then I can put them together into a book/journal and start on my pages.

It might take me all weekend to do the signatures since I've never done that before. I hope the instructions on the website for the stitching is easy....

I'm double dipping with this one. Here's my photo challenge/art journal entry, Where Have All the Cowboys Gone? (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=4594&cat=2&limit=recent)

Everyone's welcome to join in. Click on Gallery and you'll see Upload Photos. Click on that and you're given a choice of galleries. In this case you'll choose Art Journaling. The rest is very upfront. Leave a link here in the forum! Glad to have you aboard!

Please let us know if one of these methods works! This is ambitious for sure (I know you do some needlework so maybe it isn't so daunting to you but I am in awe!)

Yippy Suzan has come to play. Can't wait to see what you do since the art journal pages you have put on your blog recently are kicking good!

Look what I found from "our very own" Teesha Moore:

How to Make Your Own Journal (http://www.teeshamoore.com/how_to_make_journals.htm).

Great instructions if you want to try this.

Thanks, Victoria, this LOOKS easy! I've been wanting to try my hand at book-making and starting a different kind of journal where I try more artsy and less digital. This looks like a candidate!

This site is fabulous! Teesha's site was one that I found when I first started doing journals. Her directions are clear and concise, WONDERFUL!!:D
