Just a note of warning to fellow Quirks. The woman who has launched a barrage of spam on Scrapbook Graphics (in the guise of some Buddhist writings) has now reached Quirks. She calls herself Jeannette and she needs to be removed from the members' list. Maya at SBG has already removed her from there. I gather she doesn't have a life if she has time to enrol as a member and then plough through all the names and then send individual private messages as there seems to be no mechanism to do it in bulk.

Yes, I was a victim of Jeannette at SBG, along with dozens of other members. This type of spam is really a blot on society.

Me too. It is beyond me that someone can enrol as a member of a digital art group simply to use that privilege to spam fellow members. This person, if there is such a person, does not reply to private messages. I have noted on SBG that many have written back to tell her what they think of her but, of course, she probably doesn't like being spammed!! A pox on all her houses.

I just got a private message from her here this morning. She probably likes to read about how she's annoying everyone. Should we take up a collection to send her to a phychologist? Or straight to a looney farm.

I, too was hit with Jeanette's spammail at SBG and as I write this she is HERE private messaging! So look out, for today you will be privately spammed! Gonna try and get her...mail her before she mails me!

Yes, I just looked in and I see that Jeannette is busy spamming. What really annoys me is that she has put a bar on her email address. I wonder if she checks her private messages. We should all send her a word of discouragement.

I must be flying under the radar. So far, both at SBG and here, I've escaped this annoying nitwit who has nothing to do but spread aggravation. I wonder how she is picking her victims - it doesn't seem to be in alphabetical order, just random.

She pmed me this morning, came home from church, read my email and saw a private message from a fellow quirker so i thought.....i didn't respond to her or follow the link in her message :) hm think maybe i might be getting web-smart ;)
