What a gift for a frigid, snowy morning! I hadn't visited your blog yet this week, Kate, so this was such a pleasant surprise. Ruth's interpretation is wondrous to behold, joyous and colorful yet true to the photo in many ways. Such a special gift for you --- and now such a special gift for all of us. Thank you for sharing, Kate, and I hope this is only the beginning of your interviews! Quirks needs a shot in the arm right now, it's been all but deserted this week.

Cracking me up Kate! I am totally miffed that I had to get an email about this from Becky and then this post-- HELLO RUTH! Has this woman never heard of bragging rights?

First of all, I was blown away by Ruth's watercolour on your Blogsite, Kate, and then the interview ... what can I say? It was wonderful. Ruth's art shines through on Quirks, although it would be wonderful if she could be persuaded to show us more of her non-digital works, and we have gleaned little snippets of her early life which have obviously come with scars. We have all gathered that Ruth is a very special person and now we know a little more about her, thanks to you. Hopefully her "Believe" quest this year will help her find her bragging rights!! Ruth, if you have it, flaunt it, and, my oh my, YOU HAVE IT.

Innocently, I sent Kate my little painting. I only hoped she would like it, next thing I knew I was answering her interview questions. The Ruth I know, would have declined such an interview, but the Ruth with the quest to believe, took another step in her journey. Thank you, Kate, and thank you all for your kind words. I love this community and my quirk friends. You are all wonderful!
