it doesn't sound particularly arty or exciting, but this article (http://photojojo.com/content/diy/inkjet-image-transfers/) arrived in my inbox over night from Photojojo (which is a very interesting thing to subscribe to - they have fantastic ideas).

Since it mentions moleskine books I thought I'd pass it along, and it has application (hee hee) for many other media.

Anyway, have a look and see what you think.

(it's nice to see someone writing up an article about something I did accidentally - I printed on the wrong side of glossy photo paper and it took a month for the ink to dry)

I've used the packing tape or clear Contact paper method, which is great fun. Apply tape or Contact paper to your chosen image. Rub vigorously with back of spoon. Soak in warm water for a bit. Use an old toothbrush to gently remove paper. Tape will remain sticky with image intact, and can be placed on your receiving surface. This works best with magazine images, but will work with comic strips, for example. Great for journals or ATCs.
