I have made a start for the Naming Ceremony! Did I mention how enthusiastic I am about this? I have posted my Word, my name portion. And now I sip my coffee and go try to enjoy the fun self doubt and second guessing that naturally follows any commitment. :)

And, I've picked a word for Kimmie. I even have the layout in mind's eye. It just need to transform it to digi. LOL

So everybody has selected one name for themselves and created a layout. Now the secret part....you select a second name for your quirk sister and create a layout but you don't tell anyone....the secret!

Ladies, when you select this second name you also are choosing the order of the words. Example - first name butterfly - second name beautiful - together Beautiful Butterfly. Ok?

I did forget one step in the insturction....:eek: After the second names are revealed you need to create a final piece with both words. When that is done, and there is no time limit, post to the gallery and PM for your surprise.

As it happens, I am going to be away tomorrow night. I cannot miss our date, though. I am going to ask my darling husband to log in as me. (EEEk, a spouse!)

I will perhaps be able to log in to post comments and in the fora while I am away, but this final Quirk name will be my only art post until next week.

Thanks for all the goodness along this journey, encouragement from quirk sisters and the shared experience with this years class of newly named friends. Huzzah!

BTW, I had a real block about a bold image to express MY name, so I went with a muted, hopefully zen-style, piece and a poem that incorporated all of our names. Hope that is ok, it is where the muses led me. Praise be to the goddesses.

Ah, sorry about the "spousal hiccup." I spoke to him on Friday night and he was trying to get the kids to bed (remember, I was out of town, so he was solo!) Anyway, It was late and in the wrong gallery, but he did it and I appreciate it.

No problem, just let me know if that happens. But in the meanwhile, I was so excited to update the roll, I just went ahead and used the gothdaddy upload.
