that my brain is fried. Ah, well, my memory is so bad, I keep rediscovering that over and over again! Maria wrote me a nice PM and asked me to please host the upcoming quirkle, to which I replied "yes". I then went and posted the Stock Photo Challenge! I apologise for my unseemly behaviour in butting into the Stock Photo line up! And, yes, I will actually post a quirkle. I have written to the person who was actually asked to host the Stock Photo, confessed my hopeless confusion and have asked them to host next week so hopefully all is not lost. And, poor Kimmie, who was unwittingly led to believe that she had asked two people to host, I have done as you asked and hopefully all will be righted in the challenge world after this week of Raven closes :)
I wonder how much longer I will be able to hold onto my job?

I have a little story. When my friend's husband was in marines, if they did not clean their weapon properly, they were asked to march umpteen times around the parade ground, one hand on their rifle and the other on their ..ah..er..anatomy, chanting "This is my rifle, this is my gun.....this is for shooting and this is for fun"......
We won't make you march or gesture, just sit at your computer repeating "this is stock photo, this is a quirkle"........
I hope this helps!

I am chuckling at your quirkle, photo challenge mix up, Kim. However, I am howling at Bev's comments, ROFL!!

I thought I was losing my mind! I couldn't for the life of me remember asking you to host the image challenge. I have always believed that things happen for a reason! There is a reason...I just don't know what. Yet!
Love Bev's Comments! LOL!!!

this was just what was needed to pry that little story out of Bev! I just hope I don't have one of my nightmare nights tonight! I am so so so mentally dull right now I thought the anatomical part she was referring to was the derriere and I kept waiting for the punch line (probably thinking she had one more typewriter key story to tell). I was sure it was going to rhyme with brass. I had to read it a few times before the shoe dropped, followed by my chin. The next thing I see is a bawdy poem. I swear that woman is traversing a strange phase of the moon or something!
I have seen a few stock photo layouts when I buzzed in but I need to wait til tomorrow to look at them. Was in bed, couldn't sleep but apparently can't stay awake either. My one eye doesn't close all the way yet. Think of the Tell Tale Heart from the other side of the story-- being the one scaring the ****ens out of anyone peering in. That's me!

Kim, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does things like this. :-) And, I'm happy for your mistake because I loved playing with the castle photo.
What a story, Bev. LOL
