As much as we've loved the Quirkles and Stock Photo challenges, interest has been waning, so let's try something totally new. Each week, we'll post a new altered arts challenge. Some weeks, we may look at themes, on others at techniques or formats.

For this, our very first Artist's Studio challenge, let's create some Moos.

What are Moos? They're little mini calling cards (only 1.1x2.76 inches). The brainchild of Moo (http://us.moo.com/en/products/minicards.php), a London-based printing company, the little cards are popular with artists and marketers, alike. For some great examples of this mini art form, check out the Flickr Moo Group Pool (http://www.flickr.com/groups/moo/). I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Sounds exciting to try some new challenges here at DAQ. It's fun to create these little pieces of art, and I'll be playing along on this one!

I love Moos. I'm in.

Are we to choose our own theme?

No theme this week. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Here's my moo, Donna. I wasn't sure where to put it. Will there be a gallery for Artist's Way challenges? I put it in Altered Art, which doesn't really fit.

I followed Bev's suit and posted my Moo in the Altered Art gallery.

It is definitely a challenge to work with this size! I had to rotate mine but I saw Donna's so I guess orientation doesn't matter.
