Hi Kim,

Is this Off Screen department open yet for discussion? :] If so, I'd like to share something I thought might be of interest.

On Saturday, I stopped by a shop that I love to visit, and I saw these great little clocks that were made using wonderful collage and painting techniques-- all done on small pieces of wood, probably about 6x6. Anyway, I thought this would be a great example of something we could make using our own digital images. Materials: Just little pieces of wood, (art boards), collage or digital images, and a clock kit. Looked pretty simple.

Care to add anything to this?

Juli

This forum is now officially opened! I have had this planned for a few weeks now and I have the first project all set up; however, I am thrilled to use your idea for the next project. Please stay tuned and thanks for the suggestion. I am pleased to get it and am open to getting any!

Kim, Kim, Kim.... I'm jumping up and down, I'm so excited. I just came across a link I want to share with everyone but I thought you might want to since this is your department so to speak. It's a reallly good one and I think we can all do a lot with it. Wanna know what it is? Hee-hee-hee---can't wait to share it!!!

okay, you've got me excited too! I have started the first project thread and have promised clocks for the second and now it looks like I might have the third too. I am going to have NO excuses for not carrying this on in a timely (pun intended) fashion since you guys are virtually doing it for me.

P.S. If you don't send me the link soon I might have to have a fit or something, lol.

Ok, here is the story-- I have always said how great it would be to use my own digital paper designs to make fabric. My inner textile designer is screaming to come out! So yesterday, I came across a link to a company that does it! And now I'm having all kinds of ideas on what I could do with custom made cotton fabric! A quilt, wall hanging, whatever.

You see the link and then you decide the project (if you like it). This is your baby so go for it! Custom fabric from our fabulous digital quirk files HERE (http://spoonflower.com/welcome).
