I'm sitting here in my air conditioned house with goosebumps all over me, so when I saw this journaling prompt in my stash, I had to share it...

So, what gives YOU goosebumps?

Lots of ways you can interpret that--fear, excitement, weather, spooky "coincidences," books you've read. You know what I'm talking about. Start writing! Put your thoughts down in your DAQ Journal and if you end up creating some art based on those ideas, post it in our gallery and come back and share a link to it here in this thread. I'm pretty sure the first time I see someone share a link, I'll be getting goosebumps!

El Chupacabra! that thing is sooo creepy, I've managed to scare myself several times after watching a paranormal show or doing research for a school project on cryptozoology.

And as much as it creeps me out, I always find the need to know more about it...I'm a sick person I know!

I read a book once that had a line in it that basically said we are inexplicably drawn toward that which tries to destroy us! Maybe that's why you have the weird fascination with it.

Ghosts and ghost stories always give me goosebumps and the shudders. My most significant brush with the otherworld in that respect was my brother. Many years ago he was living with his friend and friend's girlfriend (about 20 years older than my brother). His friend was also his football coach, and one Saturday at the footy field the coach had a heart attack and died in my brother's arms. The coach/friend and his girlfriend had had a deal - that if one of them died before the other they would return with a message to say they were okay. Apparently, that opened the door to an unwelcome spirit, who proceeded to haunt their home - smashing plates, running up and down the stairs, switching lights on and off, moving furniture whilst they were in the room... it reached the point where they had to have the house exorcised. It's 9.30pm here in Canberra, and now I have to get that out of my head before I try and sleep! ;)

came immediately to mind when I saw Becky's challenge. Whether I call it "spooky coincidence", serendipity, or a message from the past, one thing's for sure...it gave me major goosebumps!

Somehow, my journaling pages all seem to look alike, nonetheless, here it is!

Edeena, you have my head spinning. You're bringing up these old challenges, and I read them as current! I'm answering Becky about goosebumps as if she hadn't written it over a year ago!! It gave me a chance to journal a special moment, though!

I'm going to have a lot more time on my hands when "Lost" ends this spring. I'm a Sawyer girl myself. :p
