November atc swap

This month's challenge theme is : FLY ME TO THE MOON

And now for something totally different, November's ATC challenge will be a Digital swap* and here's how it will work :

Make your card in the usual way - both front and reverse and send a high res copy to me at Itztaluula@gmail.com with NOVEMBER ATC SWAP in the subject line, and post a low res copy to the ATC gallery.

On the last day of the month I will send out, a digital copy, by email, of each of the ATCs received to each participant who has signed up for the swap.

*There may be artists who would still prefer to make and send out their ATCs in the conventional way, and if that's the case, no problem, just let me know.

If you want to play, sign up here and send me a PM (private message) : NOVEMBER ATC SWAP and please include your name, address and email address.

You have until 7 November to sign up. On the 8th everyone who has registered will be included in the swap, and anyone wishing to send out conventional cards will receive a copy of postal addresses. You then have until the end of November to send me your digital cards.

As always, for anyone wishing to send out conventional cards, please remember to keep postal rates in mind before signing up, as you are responsible for mailing the cards yourself.

If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Yes, I have a question... why are you doing it that way? It sound greatly easier on us, but sort of a pain for you. I like the theme! And I am really lazy, so I am in!

Hi Laurel, a number of members were saying the cost of postage was restrictive when they were deciding whether to participate, so I asked if there would be interest in a digital ATC swap, and there was! So, here we are and at the end of November we'll review. :D

Okay, count me in. I've been lurking in the Gallery here at DAQ, and I'm pretty intimidated, but I've got to start somewhere! I've set myself a simple goal to try and help in geting started: for this challenge, I will use all the techniques covered in Tutorial #1 of my art program.

Thank you all, so much, for your support. I'm having a tough time trying to "resize" and "resample" a picture I'd like to use as background for my card, but I'm confident that only a few more tries will give me what I want.

Bonus! I figured out that it is the "ellipse" tool that one uses to draw a circle to represent the Moon. LOL!
