The Artist's Way: Week Seven

This week's chapter hits close to home for me. I definitely need to work on my listening skills and perfectionist tendencies.

We're all supposed to complete a collage this week, sort of an autobiography of our lives. If you feel comfortable sharing, I'd love to see them.

Jealousy Map-Oh my, I didn't expect this!

Who: Those who have creative digital web sites
Why: It seems they can hang out on the web for long periods of time without physical pain. It seems they can engage in long periods of art each day.
Action Antidote: Set a timer. Work on art for XXXXX amount of minutes. Get up. Stretch. Go for a walk. Do a chore. Then, sit down and repeat cycle again.

Who: Co-workes who will get laid off of work
Why: Free from work for a while-less stress from not working-according to what a few have told me for their immediate future plans.
Action Antidote: ?????

I purchased new candles for my house and 3 cinnamon "brooms". My house smells like autumn-even though we live in Florida.

5. My favorite tv show is Grey's Anatomy. Love the conflict and adrenal rush of the emergencies.

1. Adopt a puppy-well, it doesn't fit into the question-but it's something I want to do.

Cindy, thanks for sharing. I don't have too many jealousies; that's something I had to work on when I was younger. I do envy folks in their 20s who have knees that don't ache, 20/20 vision, and a metabolism that allows them to eat anything. A positive step in that direction would be to eat a more healthy diet.
