Torso Tags: Nov. 19-26

I discovered torso tags on the Go Make Something website some time ago, and I thought they'd make a fun digital project. They're simply tags shaped like a dressmaker's dummy that you give your own artistic flair. You can read all about them here, http://gomakesomething.com/ht/tags/torso-tags/.

Here's my example. I cut mine out, inked them and added fibers, but they'd also work great as elements on an art piece.

I'm a wee bit confused. I tried to download the template which won't work for me. The picture I see on the download is one of straight lines and angles and I am wondering how it morphs into a rounded torso! Is the idea of the challenge to actually handcraft the tags? Help!

Thanks Donna, I have it now. My computer is so tied down that any problems with downloading are due to it and not coming from the other end. Bev saw the same template but the download came through as the torso.

I am a bit confused about the challenge. Is it to craft a tag as you did? I am so tied to digital work that I don't have any craft materials at all.

Marie, the challenge is to decorate the tag using your digital arts software. You can post the plain tag, use it on an art piece, or cut it out the way that I did. Mine's all digital; I just added ribbon to the top. I think they'd be great for digital paper dolls or used alone on an ATC.

I just plopped a torso on my page, and it all evolved from there. This is not what I intended, but my muse seemed to have other ideas!
