The Artist's Way: Week Twelve

So, here we are at the end of our journey. One more week of journalling and Artist's Dates, and your commitment is over. Or maybe not? :)

I know I'll still be journalling, though perhaps not as often, and I'll still be doing the Artist's Dates. I've learned that one or two hours a week devoted strictly to me keeps me from getting frazzled.

This week, we talk about trust, set our creative goals, and learn to look for last-minute acts of sabotage.

One of our assignments this week is to look back at the negative beliefs we explored the first week (pg. 30). Which ones are still haunting you? How are you going to get rid of them?

Well, I haven't been here in quite a while, and I'm sorry to say I didn't make it all the way through The Artist's Way either. Looking at the lack of replies over the last few weeks, I guess I wasn't the only one. I began with the best of intentions, and made it through Chapter 8, but then things started getting crazy! Those of you who have joined the Art Journal Caravan over at Scrapbookgraphics know that I have been hard at work on that project for a while now, and that combined with my insane decision to make birthday and Christmas presents for everyone in my family (and we all have birthdays in November/December!) have completely taken over my life! So, unfortunately, TAW fell by the wayside... but I wanted to thank Donna for all the hard work she put into this, I do feel I got a lot out of it, in fact I'm not sure I would have felt confident enough to work on the Caravan project when Tangie asked me to join her, had it not been for TAW. So thank you, so much, and I hope I will be able to get through the rest of the book after the holidays!
