What a great site you recommended. I actually recognize some of those titles. My my my! Once in my past, we had Munro Leaf come to dinner at our house. I cannot even remember how we met him, but he signed my Ferdinand the Bull book.
I was a school librarian in my past life and I loved kiddy lit. But for the life of me I can't come up with a image to post as yet. Maybe later.
