Hi, I am new to the site and new to altered art/art journaling/etc, even though I've been digiscrapping for almost 2 years now.

I found your site from a link at DST and love all the beautiful art I am seeing here! I am looking for a place to "hang out" where I can just look at creations and get inspired, and maybe post in a few threads or two while I'm here :)

I'm 27 and I teach math at a university. I've been married for 5 years but we don't have any children, so that leaves me lots of time for playing on the computer!

Hi there! Welcome to Digital Art Quirks where things are a little quiet at the moment but should warm up soon. We have two challenges a week that you may be interested in at some time and also a monthly art journal challenge (1st of each month). The Sunday challenge is for altered works of art (hence my silly blackbird picture inspired by a work of art) and the Thursday challenge is the Artist's Studio challenge with a new prompt each week.
