The digital part I understand, but what else is there to start me off? I've never even heard of ths before, but here's what I think from having a look around.
Should be square. Is there a specific size? Although that doesn't matter so much with digi stuff.
Should have some text. I'm guessing that using your own hand-writing is the "correct" thing to do, but I'm much happier with fonts, is that ok?
Is there anything else I should know before I dive right in and keep my hands clean? :p

Welcome to DAQ, Susan. As far as "rules" or "correct", those are only suggestions here. For your Digital Art Journal, you can make it whatever size you want to (it's yours!). It could be square, rectangle, triangle or whatever you want to make it. And if you want to journal and use your own handwriting, go for it; but if you prefer fonts or alphas, that's ok, too.

I'm looking forward to seeing your art in the gallery.

Thanks very much :D I was hoping it was going to be a case of "whatever you want" but I wasn't entirely sure, so I thought I better check first :)

Susan,
There are no rules!
Anything goes
(no porn and perhaps, no foul language?)

That would be pretty much a given with me :D
