I was just browsing through some of my vintage images when I found a photo of a couple of girls that reminded me of Princess Leia from the Star Wars movies. So, I just had to create a funny little ATC (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=348&cat=501), and figured I might as well challenge the rest of you to share a Sci-fi themed ATC, too! Come on everyone! Let's go where no artist has gone before! :)

Can I just add all of my Space Babe cards here?! LOL! Great theme Becky!

Well, no, Robyn...only the ones where she actually IS in space, okay? ;D

Picky, picky! You will notice that Space Babe only has wings when she is actually IN space. Maybe I'll need to find her some more places to go.

Here is my Sci-Fi ATC. What a fun challenge. I have NO idea where you artists get your clip art. I finally found some Microsoft images and made do with those.
I signed onto Flickr ... and couldn't figure out WHERE to find the search for images to use. I signed onto a stock photo site, and found you had to buy the photos. So ... ?????

Most of my clip art I find on Google. I do a Google image search and then sort by large images. Keep in mind that some of these images are copyrighted and I would never submit any of this for publication. But when I am using it solely for personal art it is no different than clipping art out of a magazine or something.

Love your bathing moon beauties ATC!

If you are looking for FREE stock photos, try Stock Xchng (http://www.sxc.hu/)
And as for Flickr, the best place to look for stuff to use is this Collage Group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/collageimages/)

Hope that helps!

BTW, what's the collective noun for a group of Batmen, I wonder?

Good question, Gillian. A group of bats live in a colony, so I guess batmen would, too. :-)
