Ok, I just made a winter avatar and want to get very fancy and animate it. I found one tutorial but I became very confused and dropped it around 12am last night. I have the work done in photoshop (4 simple layers with little snow flakes) and want to use Image Ready to do the animation. I searched the threads but there is nothing pointing to a good tutorial. Any suggesions? Thanks!

Are you using CS2? If so....

Doing Animations? Don't Jump To Imageready
In previous versions of Photoshop, if you wanted to create an animation, you'd have to jump to ImageReady (Photoshop's Web graphics sibling that comes preinstalled with Photoshop). Although ImageReady still comes with Photoshop CS2, you don't need to jump over there to do your animations; now you can do them right within Photoshop. Just go to the Window menu and choose Animation, and ImageReady's familiar-looking animation palette will appear across the bottom of your Photoshop screen, and a row of buttons for animation options will appear near the top of your Layers palette

You may want to also check the Studio Matters blog. One of their first challenges was a blinkie (same idea just a different size) and I seem to remember tips with the challenge.

I think the last tut I used was by Angie Svoboda posted on the DSP.
