Hi all! I need your input, thoughts, comments and good advice on what we can do to improve the Quirk Naming Ceremony. Don't hestiate or hold back.
Nevermore has gotten things started with some great ideas:
Graybonnie, one of the things I was thinking is when we started, the whole site was new and no one had a quirk name so "mass baptism" seemed in order. Now we have new people dribbling in from time to time, it seems to take forever to get a huge group together. All you really need is two at any given time, each naming each other. It might sustain interest more and keep things moving along if we let any two go forward.
It would also be tres neat if we could have a dedicated gallery for this. I have kept a list of all layouts posted to date. Might be mega work for Becky but maybe if need be I could get temp privileges or something and I would be happy to do the moving of the old ones.
I have no problem with the old threads but it would be a good idea to rewrite and start fresh with a stickied thread for ease of reference. Maybe then have each new group (even if only two) have their own thread so anyone can follow the process of them through the ceremony.
I would update the links in my list of names if the layouts got moved.
I think it would be cool, too, if everyone updated their User Profile to indicate their quirk name.
Just a few thoughts for now. Any other quirkers wanna chime in?
