In Quirkland we host a game for new members - “The Naming Ceremony”. We welcome one an all to sign-up and have some fun. You might want to take a moment and read the "Offical Naming Ceremony" (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78) thread for insight of this great and wonderful experience.

The ceremony consists of three art creations:

1) You choose a name for yourself (e.g. Grateful) and create a 4x6 quirkart illustrating your meaning. As always, there are no real rules here in Quirkland and you are free to choose any kind of word your quirky heart desires.

2) Someone in your group chooses a name for you (e.g. Butterfly) and creates a 4x6 quirkart.

3) Last step is a blending of the two names to form your new Quirk Name. A few bells and whistles sound off when you post your final creation for all to see.

Get started by looking for the group sign-up thread in the Community News Forum and posting a message stating you want to join the fun. Your name will be added to the participants lists. Go ahead and start pondering your first name.

In order to avoid delays, I will employ a quirky randomness in closing each new group. Once the group is officially closed you will have 5 days to post your quirkart illustrating your first name. Please upload your creation to the “Naming Ceremony Gallery”. All posting dates will be confirmed in the group thread.

Next you will need to create a second name for one of your fellow group members. To avoid confusion, the quirk decree is for assignments to be based on the sign-up order. This simply means that person #1 will choose a name for #2, and so on, with the last person choosing for #1.

WARNING.... THIS IS WHERE THE SECRET PART OF THE CEREMONY STARTS!

Each group will have their very own naming day when all second name quirkarts will be revealed. So please don’t share the second name or your creation until the designated day. The special day will occur 10 days after the posting date of the first name.

Be sure to give some thought in selecting the second name! If you don’t feel like you know your partner well enough don’t worry. Instead check out their gallery, stop by their blog or better yet ask them how they decided on their first name. A tip... if the first name is a noun then the second name should be an adjective or visa versa. Check out Mishou’s noun (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=526&cat=505) and adjective (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=525&cat=505) lists if you get stuck.

Do not include the first name in your creation of the second name quirkart.

Naming day is met with anticipation and excitement not by just the group but for all DAQ members. During this special 24 hour period each group member will upload their creation to the “Naming Ceremony Gallery”. Some will be quick, posting as soon as the clock strikes 12:01 a.m. but others will lurk waiting until the dead of night to share their work. Oh what fun waits!

The last part of the ceremony is the inception of your official quirk name. Surprises await you once you have completed and posted your full new name. So don’t wait! Once your masterpiece is finished and posted to the “Naming Ceremony Gallery” you need to PM me the link and I will unlock the treasure trove.

If you have any questions or concerns please post to this thread or send me a PM. Yours sincerely, Colorful Enigmatic ~ Graybonnie

This might have appeared nike dunk high tops women (http://www.nikejordantoyou.com/) to any one else who had this, unfortunate man in his hands to afford a chance to nourish his soul as well as his body, and to bestow upon him some reproach, seasoned with moralizing and advice, or a little nike dunks high white (http://www.nikejordantoyou.com/) commiseration, with an exhortation to conduct himself better in the future. My brother did not even ask him from what country he came, nor what was his history. For in his history nike dunks (http://www.nikejordantoyou.com/) there is a fault, and my brother seemed to avoid everything which could remind him of it. To such a point did he carry it, that at one time, when my brother was speaking of the air jordan retro 11 (http://www.nikejordantoyou.com/) mountaineers of Pontarlier, who exercise a gentle labor near heaven, and who, he added, are happy because timberland boot sale (http://www.timberlandmenshoes.com/) are innocent. And there are several ways that it can be done, incidentally, and that black timberland boots (http://www.timberlandmenshoes.com/) is done legally in the United States Senate and in the Congress. The first way is to be a rich man. I don't happen to be a rich man, so I couldn't use that one. Another way that is used is to put timberland 6 inch premium boots (http://www.timberlandmenshoes.com/) your wife on the pay roll. Let me say, incidentally, that my opponent, my opposite number for the Vice Presidency on the usa mens soccer shoes (http://www.soccer4shoes.com/) Democratic ticket, does have his wife on the pay roll and has had it -- her on his pay roll for the ten years -- for the past roll top boots ten years.
