Hope it is okay to share this here. This is my first try at doing some mixed media jewelry. I used black polymer clay, cut the shapes, used parts of stamps for the images, colored with Pearl EX powders, and baked them. I made a bracelet, and two pendants. This was so much fun!

OH WOW!! Cathy Rose!! These are gorgeous!! Thank you so much for posting these for us to have a looksee!!

I love polymer clay and have made some things with it, too...mixed media jewelry is an OBSESSION with me....I am always trying to come up with ways to incorporate that obsession with my digi obsession...thus the bottlecap bracelet...but I have thousands of ideas in my head, and hardly a second to execute them!!

I'm sooooooo impressed by your craftmanship with these...boy, i know who to come to if i have any clay questions!!

Gorgeous

- I make jewellery too and I made this brooch/pin using odd bits from everywhere - including these lilac Barbie highheels I found in the street!

I use my digital collages as the basis for my art pendants. Most of the items have been scanned in, or photographed originally. Like in this one (http://www.digitalartquirks.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=3545&cat=500&ppuser=310), the jeans were really scanned in and cut out (they're my daughter's so they fit on the scanner! lol), flowers are a photo, all paper ephemera real and scanned.

I've tried getting into polymer clay, but I don't have the patience. :) Hopefully I'll get there. Your items are lovely though!!!

Oh Cathy!! Wow!!! Those are fabulous pieces. I need to go dig out my clay right now! I love the effect of the pearl ex powders. I hope you plan to do more of these, because they are truly lovely works of art!

These are really professional looking, Cathy. I'm in a charm swap this month with a local group. Wish I'd seen these in time to think about making my charms following your method. Thanks for sharing!
